What is Echinaboost Echinacea Extract?
Echinaboost (formerly known as Revitonil) Echinacea Extract is a licensed herbal remedy used to relieve colds, and nose and throat infections.
The key ingredient is a herbal extract of echinacea, known for its ability to fight bacterial and viral infections and to boost the body’s defences.
The chewable tablets also combine liquorice root, aniseed oil, eucalyptus oil, peppermint, fennel oil and cloves, traditionally known for their soothing effect on the symptoms of colds, and nose and throat infections.
Should I take Echinaboost?
Echinaboost Echinacea Extract can be taken by adults and by children aged 6 years and over, who are suffering from the following symptoms:
• sore or tickly throat.
• sneezing.
• running eyes and nose.
• nasal congestion.
•tickling cough.
Taking Echinaboost
Echinaboost tablets should be sucked or chewed for the best effect. They are suitable for adults and children in the following dosages:
Adults: 2-3 tablets, 3 times a day
Children 10-15 years: 2 tablets, 3 times a day
Children 6-10 years: 1 tablet, 3 times a day.
Echinaboost Echinacea Extract does not contain paracetamol or aspirin.
Echinaboost is not recommended for children under 6 years or for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Some people may be sensitive to the glucose or sorbitol contained in the tablets. Not recommended for diabetic patients.
