BioCare was the first company to introduce fructooligosaccharide (F.O.S.) to practitioners in the U.K. F.O.S. was originally referred to in our literature as bifido growth factors (B.G.F.) and oligo-fibre. Fructooligosaccharide (F.O.S.) selectively supports the growth of beneficial bacteria and form part of a group of compounds found in raw fruits and vegetables such as artichokes, chicory and dandelion.

Recommended Intake
One tablespoon (approx 10g) sprinkled on cereal, fresh fruit or blended into yoghurt or fruit juice daily or as professionally directed.
NB. This product can initially cause wind and bloating.

Not suitable to be taken in conjunction with drugs that are inhibited by pH lowering agents.
