Chromium polynicotinate (niacin-bound chromium) is recommended by the U.S. Government National Research Council as a superior form of chromium for bioavailability and biological activity. The U.S recommended daily amount (RDA) for chromium has been established at 40-200µg per day. BioCare was the first company to introduce chromium polynicotinate into the United Kingdom twelve years ago when we recognised the advantages of this bioavailable, yeast free form of chromium.
Chromium polynicotinate is effectively bound to niacin (vitamin B3) and is the closest dietary source of GTF chromium.
